I really enjoyed making this movie. Luckily for me I decided to get all of the media ready before, so it was just putting everything together. I wouldn't really change anything on the video that I made. I am very happy with the product. This was an amazing class and I hope to continue to keep making videos like this in the future, with the program and outside of it. This video was fun to make, challenging, and most of all, a great learning experience. It helped me kind of narrow what I want to do for my CE project, due to the fact that I am completely re-making it almost from ground up. Everything is looking good now! Thank you for this amazing opportunity! Here is My Video...

Blog #7

My Story core and my story map will be pretty simple.  There isn't too much in depth deep story telling that is going to happen in my final movie.  This movie will almost be like a documentary about the contradicting lives of working from home and working in an office building.  The main differences and the aspects they have in common.  Also the different personalities and the pros and cons of both environments.  Working at home might not be good for some, but great for others and vice versa.  I would like to explore these different avenues because I have worked in both different environments.  Some aspects i enjoy and other I do not.  I know this can relate to people because it will either show them what they already know and maybe a little more about someone who has been working at home for the last two years and for people that have never worked from home and want to, it might show them what the are missing or maybe a life they want to avoid.  I think this will be a great video to open people's minds.  Most of the storyboard description is in the video.  The story core is just to show people "a different life". A life of solitude, the ones who work alone...

Apple Tv, An Introduction.

I loved making this video. I got to do two different things that I love to do. Make Videos and explain how to use Apple Products. I hope everyone who views this video will enjoy the features that an Apple Tv can offer. Using Apple Products and showing them off are awesome! The difficulty to make the video was very small, "it just works", and that saying is more true now then the day it was said. All the product that I have used from Apple Have been a breeze to learn and to use. I only hope that everyone one day can get to use one or even own one! Please Enjoy!

Chapter 13 The Digital Storytelling Toolbox

After reading chapter 13, i feel this is a very important chapter to the new digital story teller.  Many people like to go out and buy the latest and greatest for their classroom.  you can spend a fortune on equipment that can cause more issues then it can solve.  Simple is key.  Having a simple setup is awesome and it allows the tether to get right to creating and less time having to learn how to use the equipment, software and configuration of all of it.  This is the biggest qualm that I have with musicians, being one myself.   I have used garageband more times than I can count.  I have used logic which is an amazing piece of software for recording and edit/mixing, but it takes a while and it can become  complicated after awhile, we i always track my music with garageband and leave the hard stuff for later.  The most important part is to get the work started and finished.  Expensive equipment will not always help.  A teacher can spend 5000 dollars on an amazing setup, but if he doesn't know how to use it, it doesn't matter if he spends twice that amount, its still not going to help at all.  Start simple, learn the tools.  Thats the best advice I can give anyone.  Don't get caught up in getting the best, just get what works.  i couldn't agree more with this chapter, it hits home! =D
Here is a video for My Digital story.
